Orientation for those interested in joining the Mountain Bike Unit is  Saturday, February 4, 2012 at King Gillette Ranch.  The orientation will be from 9am to 11 am.

The address for King Gillette Ranch is 26800 West Mulholland Highway, Calabasas.

A short fun mountain bike ride will take place after orientation in Malibu Creek State Park, weather permitting.  

TRAINING:   

First Training Session:  February 11, 2012 at National Park Service Headquarters in Thousand Oaks.  The address is 401 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.  

Second Training Session:  March 10, 2012 at the National Park Service Headquarters in Thousand Oaks.  The address is 401 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Third Training Session:  April 14, 2012, at the National Park Service Headquarters in Thousand Oaks.

Classroom Training is 8:30am through approximately 12:00 noon.  A mandatory after classroom ride will take place after lunch after each training session.

Scenario Day:  May 12, 2012 at Malibu Creek State Park.  This is mandatory for all trainees.
